Will your church take the challenge?

During National Marriage Week in February, we invite churches across Charlotte to do at least one thing to strengthen marriages in our city. The Charlotte Marriages Challenge is a citywide effort to unite churches around marriage, and it is envisioned as a multi-year, ongoing effort.

Host a date night
Give couples in your church and community an evening to connect and invest in each other.

Preach a sermon on marriage
Devote a message to God's design for marriage and encourage your congregation to build on it.

Offer a marriage checkup
Help couples take an honest look at their marriage and find the next step to grow.

Our partnership

Your church agrees to
Promote the opportunity within the congregation and to the community
Provide key event or class details to Charlotte Marriages as soon as possible
Provide prompt updates on any event changes
Provide event attendance following the event or class
Charlotte Marriages agrees to
Provide citywide event promotion through our website, social media, and USmarriage.org
Support partner churches with event tips, ready-to-implement resources, and strategic counsel
